Regardless of company size or industry, a new hire’s success hinges on effectively connecting and communicating with others. Unfortunately, job readiness skills are increasingly rare. Nearly three of four employers can’t find job candidates with the soft skills they need. The shortage of skilled supervisors is especially acute. 

Job Readiness Training from Dulye & Co., workforce development experts for 26 years, builds the fundamental interpersonal, critical thinking and communication skills that businesses want. We offer three engaging learning experiences for participants to gain fundamental knowledge, concrete tools and portable techniques to improve their professional presence, initiative and interactions in today’s four-generation workplace:

 
Workshop 1:  SHOW UP: YOU GET ONE FIRST IMPRESSION
Learning outcomes: Demonstrate in words, actions and images the unique traits that make you a valued employee. 
This module uses Dulye & Co.’s 3V Model for Visual, Vocal and Verbal Projection to build awareness of traits that make your identity unique and how to convey them through a strong professional presence and work ethic. Discussion examines how to create positive first and lasting impressions in live and virtual settings. Participants receive a 3V Assessment with constructive feedback for acing interviews, introductions and business interactions. 
Workshop 2: SPEAK UP: COMMUNICATE FOR RESULTS AND RELATIONSHIPS (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS)
Learning outcomes: Prepare for and lead effective two-way exchanges that engage others. 
This module uses Dulye & Co.’s 5-Point Conversation Compass™ to initiate and sustain meaningful conversations to share information, learn from others and grow relationships in today’s multi-generational workplace. Participants learn to use clear agendas, listening techniques and inquiry practices to supercharge one-on-one, team and all-hands meetings. The dynamics of preparedness, punctuality and follow-through are reinforced. 
Workshop 3:  STEP UP: BUILD YOUR NETWORK AND OWN YOUR CAREER
Learning outcomes: Own and grow your professional development through active networking, continuous learning and constructive feedback.
This module introduces successful practices for career ownership. Participants learn how to proactively grow their professional development by expanding their network, enlisting a mentor and adopting a continuous learning mindset. Using Dulye & Co.’s Ownership Action Plan, participants develop specific goals, identify learning resources and gain check-in practices for acquiring constructive feedback to stay accountable. 
Each four-hour workshop is designed for a Spectator-Free™ learning experience through intimately sized-cohorts of 12 participants, interactive group discussions, breakout sessions and practical exercises with real-time application of skill-building tools. Customized, one-on-one coaching is available, at the conclusion of workshops, to advance progress on participants’ professional development plans.
