Rich Palmay has been involved with communications, media relations and community relations programs for more than 20 years. He has held leadership positions at several leading companies, beginning with AIL Systems, Inc. in Deer Park, New York, a division of Cleveland's Eaton Corporation. In the early '90s, he was recruited by General Electric at its Government Electronic Systems Division in Moorestown, New Jersey, where he played an important role in managing and communicating change to employees—and improving communications processes.

Over the next nine years, Rich had the opportunity to experience and communicate more change, as a key communicator during the consolidation of the defense industry and three landmark mergers of large corporations, including Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin. He concluded his corporate career as director of Communications for one of Lockheed Martin's largest and most successful businesses, where he worked closely with employee teams, facilitating their growth, and getting out of their way, when necessary. The business ultimately earned several industry honors, including being named one of "America's Ten Best Plants," by Industry Week magazine, the New Jersey Quality Achievement Award, as well as two consecutive entries for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Rich left Lockheed Martin in 2000 to join Dulye & Co. He has worked with our leading aerospace and high-technology clients on a variety of projects from the boardroom to the manufacturing floor.  His process-improvement work with Lockheed Martin, DRS Technologies and Rolls-Royce Aircraft Engines has focused on managing change, engaging employees and establishing effective 2-way communications processes.

He has held leadership positions in the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and is a past member of its board of directors. He is also a former member of the board of directors for the United Way of Burlington County, and the board of Trustees of the Virtua Health System.  He currently serves on the Virtua Health System Foundation board and is a member of Virtua’s Human Resources Committee.

Rich graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University in Tempe, with a bachelor's degree in Journalism. During his professional career, he has participated in a number of management development courses at Lockheed Martin and at GE's Management Institute.

His wife, Noreen, is a labor and delivery nurse at one of New Jersey's busiest hospitals. Rich is a former high school hockey coach and official and continues to compete in a local men's league. And, yes, those are his original teeth.
